A year ago, no one could have foreseen the world we live in today. A global pandemic that triggered an economic collapse, along with the continuing crisis of social justice in America, have had a huge and terrible impact on the students of Bronx Community College (BCC). Even before the pandemic, over 40% of BCC students came from households with an annual income of under $15,000. Many worked multiple low-paying jobs to care for themselves and their families in addition to attending classes. Now, they face the very real risk of not having the financial resources to complete their degrees. But that doesn’t have to happen — your help is the key.

Your gift today to BCC's Greatest Needs can be the solution to the key challenges facing our students. Your donations will fund general scholarships, paid internships and other programs. You can also choose to contribute to a specific initiative, including:
Help a Bronco Graduate Scholarship: provides tuition assistance to students who are on track to graduate in the next year but are at risk of dropping out due to financial burdens.
Kalief Browder Memorial Scholarship: continues the legacy of the late BCC student by providing tuition aid to formerly incarcerated students working to transform their lives through higher education.
COVID-19 Relief: provides grants allowing for the return of students who had to drop out of classes due to COVID-19.
BCC’s Food Pantry: ensures that students and their families who need food receive it.
